The Occasion
The Shabbat before or after the wedding is when the two families actually meet each other properly. It needs accommodation, three full meals, a place to daven and enough space for people to sit and talk.
We host it as a complete weekend rather than a catering order: rooms, meals, kiddush, seudah shlishit and the logistics of getting everyone there and back.
